Gilberto Dominguez is Retiring | A Note from Paul Neuman

gilberto

Gilberto Dominguez is Retiring.

We are happy (and sad) to report that Gilberto Dominguez is retiring after almost 20 years with Neuman’s Kitchen.

Gilbert joined us shortly after we moved to Chrystie Street in 1996. He was with us through 9/11, the Great Recession and the thousands of daily ups and downs as we grew and finally outgrew our Manhattan home.

Gilbert was part of the team that helped us move to LIC. And now he is moving on to spend time in the Dominican Republic and to enjoy a well-deserved rest. And to dance with his beautiful wife.

We are proud to have called Gilbert our colleague, fellow worker, and friend. We always counted on him to make us a better company and to find new and innovative ways to please our clients. His smile, calm demeanor, and good humor turned many a stressful day into one filled with laughter.

We will miss Gilbert and wish him all the best. We will find someone to do Gilbert’s job but we will never find another Gilbert.

He was one-of-a-kind and a true star.

Sincerely, Paul Neuman
